We Are Now The Artist Formally Known as Telegraphics

11 May We Are Now The Artist Formally Known as Telegraphics

Hi there. We know what you’re thinking. If you’re a client you’re thinking, ‘am I on the wrong website?’ and if you’re not familiar with us maybe you’re thinking ‘who is this fancy new company?’

Let us help you out with the basics right off the bat. Along with some changes internally (which we’ll get to below), we’ve decided it’s time we give our brand an update (also explained below). While for years we’ve been known as Telegraphics Inc. (and also TG), moving forward we are Martin Creative. We’ve provided some simple math to help illustrate this in the graphic above.

Now we know you have questions, so below we’ve gone ahead and addressed the big ones…

Change is scary. I don’t like change, why are you changing?

This is a good change…we promise. We used to build websites simply by designing the shell and handing it off to a client to finish up. It’s how we did it, and it’s how the industry did it because building websites used to only be about the technical knowledge involved. However these days, sites are far more than a skeleton for brand content, and we’re adjusting accordingly.

Ok, I think I’m on board with this change…but what does it mean for me?

Our whole change is part of a shift towards being a more active digital partner for our clients. We’re no longer just providing the framework for a working website. Instead we’re taking time to understand the business, the people behind it and overall goals before starting any new project. We look at revenue, annual projects, goals, plans for growth and more to make strategic decisions about brand websites.

With this, we’ve become more strict about the clients we take on. We take a lot more responsibility for the website as a whole, including messaging, writing site content, choosing imagery, and the user experience of the site.

Essentially we’re not just a vendor anymore, we’re an extension of your team. In fact, we are your web team.

This all sounds great! But I don’t see why you had to change your name.

Well, there’s a reason for that too. A year ago we were only a team of 2, churning out websites to whomever needed one. Today, we’re a team of 9 crafting websites using expertise from all angles including marketing, design and development. We’ve changed names because we wanted something that reflected the new level of full-service digital partnership we provide. Plus “Martin” is our founder’s last name, and he’s always wanted business cards with his name on them twice.

What if you already built me a website? Why should I care about this?

Well if you’re already a client, or were a past client, we’re now even better equipped to help you as your business grows. You can come back to us to reevaluate your website user experience, refresh your content, rebrand or even restructure the way your current site works.

TG, Martin Creative…I’ve never heard of either. What does this all mean for me, the stranger over here?

It means if you sign on with us to build a website we can provide a new level of expertise to your business. It also means you’d have a team of people who understand your team and your business, not just a list of items that need to be on your website. You’re a partner, not a project.

Oh hi…I was Googling for cats that look like Game of Thrones characters and somehow ended up here? Can you direct me to that?

Well, it’s not what we normally do around here but here you go… Game of Thrones Characters As Cats.

So there you have it. We think we’ve answered all immediate concerns. Henceforth we shall be known as Martin Creative. To our loyal clients, thanks for taking this journey with us and to our new clients to come…we can’t wait!

I enjoyed the cats. . . thank you for sharing that. However, I was looking for more of a Buzzfeed-like article about Game Of Thrones theories based on cat images. . . Nice change on the company!

Sounds like big things are happening – how exciting! It’s always great to work with a team that “gets it”, and I know you do! 🙂

    Congrats on the change!
